Westminster City Council – support for enterprise
During 2015 and 2016 Alison supported Westminster and its stakeholders to explore the opportunities for EU funding through the new programmes and particularly the London ESIF, INTERREG North West Europe and URBACT.
Alison also project managed the inaugural ‘Westminster Enterprise Week‘ which took place during ‘Global Entrepreneurship Week’ in November 2015 with a youth entrepreneurship focus The programme of activities included enterprising assemblies in the city’s schools, tours of the co-working spaces, a youth entrepreneurship breakfast roundtable for enterprise intermediaries, a new youth enterprise programme culminating in a ‘Dragon’s Den-style’ pitching panel, a ‘My Lightbulb Moment’ workshop for young people and a flagship reception event / awards ceremony.
