Eurotowns – Strategy Review, development and delivery of INTERREG IIIC project (CAPTURE), development of two INTERREG IVC projects (CLIQ and MMOVE)
Partnership and project development, bid writing, thematic expertise
From 2003 to 2008 Aurora worked with this network of European small and medium sized towns and cities to develop their organisational priorities, structures and constitution. We helped to expand the network through a successful INTERREG IIIC Bid in the field of the Knowledge Economy – CAPTURE. In 2007/8 we developed two INTERREG IVC applications, CLIQ (open innovation) and MMOVE (sustainable mobility) with 16 and 12 partners respectively which were selected for funding in January 2008 (2 of just 40 projects selected from around 500 submitted). www.eurotowns.org
During 2012 – through Kneeshaw Consulting, we supported Eurotowns to review its priorities in the framework of the current and future EU funding and policy landscape.
“I continue to be impressed by the commitment, enthusiasm and professional expertise of Aurora. They are experts in the EU field and have successfully advised and supported Brighton and Hove City Council to lead a knowledge economy project with 21 European partner towns and cities”
Scott Marshall then Director, Culture and Regeneration, Brighton and Hove Council.
“I have been working with Sally and Alison for six years now in Eurotowns-projects like Capture and CLIQ and I can only say: be sure to have Aurora on board when you start an European project! You will need their know-how and experience, their creativity and social skills, and last but not least their humour to make a success of your project!”
